Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster caregiver for Odie’s Place. Although we do not have a physical building yet, we are saving animals every day by moving them into loving foster homes. Without the support of people like you, healthy, adoptable, treatable animals would be killed in shelters. We so appreciate your help!

Volunteer foster caregivers perform a vital service for urgent animals. Often pets are not ready for adoption, whether it is for medical reasons, pregnancy, nursing, socialization, or lack of space and time to find the right home. Sometimes, the foster home is the first stable and loving environment the pets have ever experienced. Foster parents have the unique opportunity to personally help rescued animals. You may well be the most important factor in their lives.

By opening your home and heart to these animals in need, they are able to heal much faster than would be possible at a shelter. What’s more, fostering frees up room in shelters to save even more pets.
