March 30th Several Facebook Posts Begin About A Loose Dog In Industrial Park Area

I receive an email on Easter Sunday and despite holiday went out to look for dog.
I came very close to capturing dog and called New Bedford Animal Control to get them involved int his search.
DAY 2
After 8 hours with rain we decided to come back in morning. ACO took his trap and brought back to office which means I had to buy a trap and some food to lure dog in morning since no communication with ACO on what they were doing.
DAY 3
We had volunteers out there at 5 am who placed 2 traps
1. Trap I paid for
2. Trap provided by the Westport ACO
Jackie was captured around 930 am . I was 5 minutes away. Volunteers begged Animal Control for me to get the closure I deserved and they drove off minutes before I arrived.
Per City Law . Dog is required to go to Forever Paws for a 10 day stray hold period to allow owner ample enough time to claim animal.

10 Day Stray Hold Ends April 14th . Task Force Team DENIED opportunity to again see dog. Forever Paws DENIES having animal!!!!

Despite Forever Paws going on public record stating they do NOT have dog. New Bedford Police Department issues a Press Release still on their page today stating the dog WAS at Forever Paws READ HERE City of New Bedford Police Department (Official)'s PostHard work by New Bedford Animal Control, with help from…

Forever Paws STILL Going Public Saying They DO NOT HAVE DOG. Despite NBPD Press Release

City Councilors Inquired on this situation and despite Forever Paws on Public Record they are Still being told that they have this dog.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT Emails show the same. Private fighting between New Bedford Animal Control and Forever Paws

Freedom Of Information Act emails CONFIRM Forever Paws NEVER took this dog in like city law required !!!

April 20th I receive an email from an anonymous Forever Paws Foster

Around the same time New Bedford ACO Manny Maciel posts a picture of Jackie aka "Shay" In a new loving home.

Former City Councilor Brian Martins is complimenting how much an amazing home she now has.
WAIT A MINUTE!!! How can this dog be just given to someone ??
We zoomed in to photo and found a photo frame with City Councilors Linda Morad's Family in it

APRIL 28TH DUE TO PUBLIC OUTCRY AND CITY PRESSURE FOREVER PAWS "OFFICIALLY" TAKES IN JACKIE AKA SHAYA

Over a week after "Shaya" finds an amazing home, she mysteriously shows up with Forever Paws

Per city Contract , once an animal enters their system by law they have to have the animal on a 10 day stray hold and photo posted on the city website or Forever Paws Facebook Page
Instead of Jackie appearing on their facebook page as looking for owners. They post her on PetFinder Up For adoption

Are they considering this dog boarded for 10 days at a private residence as OK?
Remember They Do Not Adopt on First Come First Serve Basis
May 3rd

May 9th Jackie VANISHES OFF PET FINDER
TEN DAYS EXACTLY when Forever Paws "took dog in" May 9th Linda Morad tells co workers she adopted Shaya aka Jackie

IN SUMMARY
Dog was never at Forever Paws for almost 3 weeks
Forever Paws told everyone for 3 weeks they dont have dog
City of New Bedford paid Forever Paws to board an animal who since April 3rd stayed at Linda Morad's house and like anonymous FP volunteer tells us dog never left that house besides a 10 minute photo shoot for PetFinder to make it look like the dog was apart of their shelter . Owner was NEVER Looked for!!!
